Lactic acid is the AHA used in this formula.  It is one of the gentlest and most hydrating of the group. How To Use

Apply in the evening to thoroughly cleansed, dry skin (face and neck). Use 1–2 times per week. Dispense a small amount, smooth over the skin (avoiding the eye area) and leave on overnight. The next morning cleanse as normal and follow with your usual morning routine and of course a broad-spectrum SPF. On days of use, avoid other strong actives on the same evening to reduce risk of irritation.

Pro tip: For first-time users, patch test and begin with once a week. Once skin is fully comfortable, you may increase to twice if desired.

Who Is It For

This concentrate is suited to anyone looking to improve skin texture, brightness and clarity without harsh physical exfoliants. It is ideal if you experience dullness, roughness, uneven tone, congestion, fine lines or a lack of radiance.

It performs well across skin types including combination, oily and mature skin and is particularly helpful if your skin becomes more textured or breakout-prone in the second half of your cycle.

When In My Cycle to Use It

Use this exfoliating concentrate in the follicular phase (the days after your period ends and leading up to ovulation). During this window, oestrogen rises, skin is naturally more resilient, and tolerance for active ingredients is at its highest. This is the ideal time for resurfacing acids, as the skin barrier recovers quickly and responds well to renewal-focused treatments.

If your skin is sensitive or reactive, avoid using strong actives, in the luteal phase, when skin becomes more reactive, prone to inflammation, and less tolerant due to hormonal shifts. Retiring harsher ingredients during this phase helps protect your barrier and supports calm, balanced skin.

This is an effective skin brightener and refresher, just ensure you follow with hydration and SPF once you wake up in the morning. It can help to bring the skin back to life after luteal and menstruation, when skin can look a little duller and may breakout more.
