How it Works
Our Vitamin ACE Moisturiser contains a plethora of skin goodies and nutrients.
Which vitamins are best for the skin? Vitamins A, C and E are a great anti-ageing combination. Rich in anti-oxidants, this cream will help boost collagen production, resulting in tighter, firmer skin and will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With added AHA fruit acid, our vitamin ACE moisturiser will brighten and hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky smooth.
"I am on the fourth day of using your magic cream and my skin is looking amazing. I don't even need to use as much foundation. It's honestly much brighter, it was looking very dull. I also had a little cluster of spots on my cheekbone that have been there for years and I swear they are fading".
Moisturisers are oil-based ingredients, containing occlusive agents, such as mineral oil and emollients like esters and plant oils such as those within Beautifully Nourished's Vitamin ACE Moisturiser. The occlusive agents in the moisturiser create a seal on the skin's surface, preventing the escape of water.
Moisturiser makes the skin feel smoother and less dry.
Grapefruit, The Skin Benefits: The zesty grapefruit essential oil can contribute to youthful skin by fighting free radicals that float around the skin, looking to destroy healthy skin cells, which can cause premature ageing of fine lines and wrinkles. The restorative properties of grapefruit can also help to brighten uneven skin tone and maintain a healthy glow.
The unique properties of Grapefruit essential oil, can help to break down excess fat by regularly massaging into the skin and can help with toning a ‘double chin’ by firming and lifting the facial contour. The components of the oil work fast to target stubborn areas and promote defined cheeks and jawline.
Ylang Ylang: Boasting particularly powerful healing properties, including Ylang Ylang Essential Oil in your skin regime can help to reward your complexion greatly.
Ylang Ylang is effective in balancing the skin and treating acne, blemish prone skin. It is able to stimulate the growth of new cells, releasing tight muscles and smooth wrinkles.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil works wonders to help regulate your sebum production. Whether your skin is dry or oily, Ylang Ylang oil helps correct the amount of oil your sebaceous glands produce, ensuring your complexion has just the right amount of moisture.
Purifying: The potent anti-bacterial properties of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil make it a very effective skin cleanser. It also acts as a healing powerhouse, boosting the regenerative process of the epidermis.
Anti-Ageing: With its powerful antioxidant properties, Ylang Ylang oil can help to fight off the free radicals that are responsible for premature ageing.
Pumpkin Seed Oil: Not just for Halloween, Pumpkin is highly enriched with vitamins and minerals, which can help radically improve the skin by soothing, hydrating, protecting, and renewing, making it an anti-ageing skin wonder.
Moisturiser with Vitamin C for Collagen Production: Pumpkin seed oil contains high levels of Vitamin C, which supports the production of the skin's natural collagen and retain firmness and elasticity. Beautifully Nourished's vitamin C, glow boosting moisturiser ingredients work alongside great for the skin Vitamins A & E.
The daily Vitamin C rich moisturiser can also do wonders for dark spots and blemishes.
Vitamin Cream for Acne: Some studies have claimed a progressive decline in pimples and blackheads with the use of pumpkin seed oil over a period of one to three months.
Dermatologists often recommend this oil to patients with acne prone or sensitive skin, due to its unsaturated fatty acids, which provide soothing anti-inflammatory properties, reduce redness and encourage wound healing.
Moisturiser with Vitamin E works wonders for the skin. Highly antioxidant, Vitamin E in pumpkin seed oil, protects the skin from environmental aggressors. Essential fatty acids work deep to penetrate into the skin’s surface and balance moisture, for a more youthful and vibrant appearance. Zinc and selenium also present, offer further protection and promote the renewal of skin cells, fighting against wrinkles and signs of ageing. Pumpkin Seed Oil also contains a plethora of natural vitamins, making it a “superpower” oil with vitamin A, vitamin B2 & B3, omegas 3, 6, 9, potassium and magnesium. All much needed vitamins and minerals for healthier, firmer and softer skin.
Aloe Vera, The Skin Benefits: We feature Aloe Vera to not only hydrate the skin, but to protect it as well. Aloe Vera is able to stimulate fibroblasts which produce collagen and elastin fibres, making the skin more supple and elastic and less wrinkled.
It's easy absorption and inflammatory properties can also aid restoring and repairing the skin after overexposure to the sun, dust, pollution and harsh chemicals.
Facial Moisturiser with Hyaluronic Acid, The Skin Benefits: Hyaluronic acid is able to hold up to 1,000 times it's weight in water, which is one of the many reasons that it has received so much respect as a wonderful hydrator.
Hyaluronic acid is also a humectant, meaning it can draw moisture from it's surroundings into the skin.
AHA Fruit Acid, The Skin Benefits: AHA fruit acid is great for exfoliating dead skin cells, revealing brighter and more even skin tone and texture.
AHA is an abbreviation for Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which exfoliates the skin's surface and helps improve upon moisture content.
There are six main AHA's derived from different sources: sugar cane, milk and fruit. Within Beautifully Nourished's Vitamin ACE Moisturiser, we feature:
GLYCOLIC ACID: Glycolic acid has the smallest molecule of all AHA's, meaning it can penetrate the skin the fastest and with the best result. The function in skincare is to remove old dry and chapped skin cells and to minimise wrinkles and lines in the skin.
LACTIC ACID: Lactic acid is also an AHA made primarily from sour milk products like cheese and yoghurt, as well as from fermented fruit and vegetables. The acidity is beneficial as healthy skin is mildly acidic. Lactic acid even has antibacterial properties and exfoliates the top layer of the skin. The result is that the top layer of the epidermis becomes thinner, softer, looks refreshed, and can more easily absorb other substances.
TARTARIC ACID: Tartaric acids are abundant in fruits and berries but found mostly in unripe grapes and bananas. It has an exfoliating effect on the surface of the skin.
CITRIC ACID: The highest level of naturally occurring citric acid is found in oranges, lemons and limes. Citric acid is an antioxidant and also functions as a natural preservative. Citric acid is moisture absorbing, disinfecting and astringent and
MALIC ACID: Malic acid is found in many fruits and vegetables, but is mostly associated with apples and cherries. Compared to the other AHA's, malic acid has a larger molecule size. This leads to a slower and more even penetration of the skin, therefore causing less irritation. That makes this acid perfect for those with sensitive skin.
